Eric and Ruthann Haider met while serving in the US Army. Shortly after meeting, Ruthann was stationed in Washington D.C. while Eric was attending post-graduate studies in Monterey, California. Long distance dating ensued and each time Ruthann flew out to visit Eric, they would head north to Napa Valley. A Family Wine Estate In The Walla Walla Valley
After completing 20+ year careers with numerous deployments, and two children, Eric and Ruthann embarked on an adventure to establish a family wine estate in the Walla Walla Valley of Washington State. Beginning with a 10 acre, sustainably farmed vineyard of French Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, the vineyard continues to expand.
Another three acres of French Cabernet Franc will be planted in 2021. The conversion of an existing structure on the estate into a tasting room with barrel storage will launch the next phase of their dream.
Winemaker Dave Harvey
Our winemaker, Dave Harvey has over 28 years of winemaking experience in Washington State working for premier wineries such as Townshend Cellars, Gordon Brothers, Terra Blanca, Bergevin Lane, and Red Band Cellars. Dave is well versed in Washington vineyards, and has produced an incredible number of outstanding wines over his career. Dave is a husband, father and accomplished fisherman as well. We are delighted to have him join our team as we craft Walla Walla estate wines for your enjoyment.
